for this year's #glitchtober, my tool of choice is Game Boy Studio. whenever I have time to pick up a prompt, I'll create a feature based on that, with the final result at the end of the month being an experimental game/interactive audiovisuals
log 01:
for "shriek" I used randomiser of numbers 1-72, matching rows in the GBS music composer. with otherwise default settings, the resulting composition is here. in the beginning, there was a sound
log 02:
"chewy" brings in a so called human teeth simulator, a simple range in a scene within whose boundaries the player can control the upper jaw, with the lower jaw mirroring the movement and glitching. not sure where this is heading but seems to lean towards surreal horror
log 03:
had to take a break due to current events. to be continued someday perhaps...
